Edwardian English porcelain ceramic barrel Rum and Gin liquor dispensers, in stunning antique condition with no chips, cracks or similar damage; all gilding and floral detailing is beautifully intact.
There is evidence of crazing which is to be expected in items of this age. The ceramic lids no longer sit completely flush, however they will still protect the precious contents with care. Some of the corking around the holes where the taps sit has deteriorated a little as you can see in the photos, however the taps themselves fit neatly in. One of the taps is missing its little dispenser flute.
Each dispenser is over 30cm tall and is estimated to hold approx. 8-10 litres of liquid.
These magnificent items are extremely rare. They are relatively functional, however they would be better utilised as an amazing display in a bar or lounge area or as a movie prop.
We are prepared to send these by freight within Australia, however as you can see and would no doubt understand, the cost is extremely high to cover the size of the box required, the padding, and weight of the packed parcel. Should you choose this option, and there's a difference in the end cost of freight once the item has been lodged, you will be notified and refunded immediately.
However, we do stress that pick up by arrangement from Magill in South Australia (postcode 5072) is very, very strongly encouraged and preferred.

Details regarding international postage rates – from Adelaide, South Australia – are not given within any of the listings in our store as they vary wildly from parcel to parcel, and country to country. We would hate to miscalculate and make you pay more than you need to by adding the wrong information to a listing, so we ask that you please contact us BEFORE purchase for the correct cost to your address!
With this in mind, it’s worth noting that international postage from Australia can be expensive. Postage is calculated based on the cubic size and weight of the parcel as well as what it takes to send your item with care. As an example, the cost of sending a 1kg, well padded parcel measuring 30cm x 30cm to New York in the United States is just over $42 Australian dollars. This is not a price we have made up... it’s what it costs to get something of these proportions out of this country and into the USA. That said, we will save you money wherever and however we can!
